Who officiates the wedding ceremony? 

        Pastor Sam is available to officiate your wedding upon request and work with you in planning the ceremony and provide pre-marital counseling. You may also provide your own wedding officiant with approval by the church.

May we have a wedding at BHUMC if we are not members of the church? 

        Yes, you may. You do not have to be a member of BHUMC in order to be married here. 

​

How far in advance can we book a wedding at BHUMC? 
        You may book your wedding as far in advance as you wish. Availability of the sanctuary and social hall are on a first come, first serve basis.

How many people will the sanctuary seat? 
        We can seat 125 people comfortably in our sanctuary. There is room for more but will be a tighter fit.

May we have our reception at the church?

        Of course! We have a large social hall downstairs from the sanctuary that is perfect for a wedding reception. 

​

May I have my ceremony on a Sunday?

        Yes, the sanctuary is available anytime after 12:00pm on Sundays (following our 10:00am service). Decorations for a Sunday ceremony may not be placed until after 11:30am.
